The primary targeted population is focused around the ages of 7-11 years old. In our area, we are already able to observe the impact of giving information to teachers concerning the indicators of sexual abuse and the responsibility to report any incident by the increase in the number of teachers reporting abuse to the legal authorities. Another target population of this program is parents in regard to education about sexual abuse. Parent information meetings will be held prior to implementation of the program in the classroom.
